A Catholic devotion that implores the Father's mercy by invoking the merits Jesus has won for us through His death and Resurrection. The Chaplet of Divine Mercy - prayed on ordinary rosary beads - is one of the most powerful prayers we could pray. It is appropriate to pray the Chaplet during the "Hour of Great Mercy" - three o'clock in the afternoon, recalling the time of Christ's death on the cross - a special remembrance of His Passion at that hour.
