PRIMARY ROLE OF THE CANTOR

The overall goal of the cantor is to guide the congregation in worship through song.

The Cantor is a good example of worshiping through song.  Especially during the singing of the Psalms, a cantor should remain prayerful and dedicated to delivering the liturgy properly.
