The Catholic Appeal is the annual fund that supports more than 50 central ministries that enrich parish life, Catholic schools, and the lives of those who turn to the Church for assistance.
Funds raised through the Catholic Appeal provide approximately 50% of the $33 million Fiscal Year 2020 budget for Archdiocesan central ministries. In addition, more than $1 million in Catholic Appeal funds raised were returned to parishes in FY 2020 as rebates to be used for their local parish programs.
"The mission of the Church is to build a community of faith around the Word of God and the Eucharist… In a community of faith, we learn to worship our God, to forgive one another and to serve those around us… we must take care of each other."
