The Reading Catholic Community is excited to offer two opportunities for families with children enrolled in the Grade 2 Sacramental Preparation Program 2020-2021.
Parents have the option of homeschool with virtual opportunities OR on-campus classes (restricted class sizes)
On Campus Classes
Homeschool with Virtual Opportunities allow parents to review each lesson at home using a guide provided by the Director. Every month Home schooling parents will be sent an email with the month’s lesson and an invitation to join in a virtual review. Virtual reviews will either be recorded or live depending on important topics in each lesson.
Lesson Plans provided via email on the first week of each month
Book Pick-Up: Collaborative Office, located at St. Agnes Parish Center, 1st Floor, Monday-Friday, 10AM-3:30PM
One of the most powerful ways we impart our Faith to our children is through living by example and as active participants in their Faith formation. It is our hope and prayer that you are talking about and encouraging preparation for the Sacrament of Reconciliation in addition to the weekly Religious Education classes. We invite you to work with your child on a routine basis over the Christmas holiday break so that they will be well prepared for their First Penance.
ATTIRE: with reverance to the Sacrament, appropriate Church attire is expected; in past girls have worn white and also other Church-appropriate attire: both are acceptable. Boys have worn white, and other Church-appropriate attire (Khakis/blue blazer, tie, etc.)
